Having worked labor jobs most of my life, I ended up with a back injury that made me partially to fully disabled. As a result I began working the internet and doing artwork as a hobby. Since then we formed The Gourd Reserve and have created a web site in excess of 600 pages all educational about gourd art and gourd crafting.
Having been disapointed by the public school system, we now homeschool our children and they are enjoying their academic studies, and are ahead of most children in their own age group. Being work at home parents and homschooling parents as well, we have paid a fortune in homeschool curriculums until we found Time4Learning. Two things that really sold us on it is the free trial for our younger kids, and the free trial for the older kids as well. so our kids could try it out first, and there were no contracts to sign, simply pay by the month. We highly recommend this to anyone who homeschools.
I married late in life and enjoy being with my wonderful wife who has stood by me even though I cannot work in the customary work force, we have learned together how to support our family. Our family as a result of both of us being home all the time is very close.
At present we are working to save enough money for an RV and want to become full time RVers and work campers. We spend more than a month travelling across the country tent camping at campsites and State Parks. We ended up in Colorado and like it so much here we have made it our home. The kids love it, and we love it, and our goal is to climb some of these 14,000 foot plus peaks that seem to beckon us from a short distance. What beautiful country this is.
